The deck is exactly 50 cards, 4 copies max. The egg deck is 5 or fewer. Unsuspend and draw are automatic; breeding is one action.
The deck is exactly 50 cards. The Digi-Egg deck is 5 cards or fewer. You may run up to 4 copies of the same card. The same Digimon can appear again if the card number is different.

Build limits
| Pile | Limit printed on the system page |
|---|---|
| Main deck | Exactly 50 cards. |
| Digi-Egg deck | 5 or fewer. Hatch during the breeding phase. |
| Copies | 4 of the same card. A different card number is a different card. |
| Opening hand | 5. No maximum hand size is printed. |
Where cards sit
| Zone | Role |
|---|---|
| Deck | The draw pile. |
| Trash | Discarded cards. |
| Hand | Starts at 5. |
| Battle area | Digimon and Tamers. The count is limited. |
| Breeding area | Hatched Digimon. |
| Digi-Egg deck | Hatch source, used in the breeding phase. |
| Security | Five cards. Clear the opponent's stack, then attack the player. |
| Memory gauge | Costs push it toward the opponent. At 1 or more on their side, your turn ends. |
Breeding is one action, not a free sequence: hatch, move a Digimon that already has DP into the battle area, or pass. Main phase is where digivolve, play, options, and attacks can be mixed. The phase list is on how a battle is won. Color choice for the 50 cards is on cards and colors.
